eScrip – Claremont Winds participates in eScrip, a charitable organization fund-raising program run by Electronic Scrip, Inc. which includes many storefront and online brands that members and friends of the band patronize, such as Eddie Bauer, Carl’s Junior, Shakey’s, Home Depot, Big 5 Sporting Goods, OfficeMax, and K.V.martco. Here’s how it works:

• You register any one or all of your existing grocery loyalty, debit and credit cards for use in the program at www.escrip.com, using the Claremont Winds organization ID# 500001638.
• Participating merchants will make contributions to Claremont Winds, based on purchases made by you, just by using the cards you have registered or shopping at the online mall.
• Note: Since Claremont Winds does not qualify for support from Vons/Safeway/Pavilions (this family of stores limits donations to schools only), although you will have the option to register your grocery cards from these chains, Claremont Winds will not receive funds from them.

Cars 4 Causes – Through this program old vehicles may be donated for a tax deduction, and proceeds will benefit the band. Donors give their vehicles to Cars 4 Causes, designating the Claremont Winds as the beneficiary organization. They may then claim the fair market value of the vehicle as a tax deduction. Meanwhile, Cars 4 Causes sells the vehicle and the net proceeds are given to the Claremont Winds. More detailed information about the program can be obtained by contacting the C4C offices at 1-800-766-CARE (1-800-766-2273), or from their website.

Ralphs, Cala Foods, Bell Markets Community Contribution Program – Shoppers who use a Ralphs Club card at any of these market chains, nationwide, may sign up to have a donation sent to CW based on the amount they spend. For more information, see this info page on the Ralphs website.

Food4Less Community Rewards Program – For shoppers who use a Food4Less Community Contribution Card at this market chain, Food4Less will donate to CW based on the amount spent. For more information, see this page at the Food4Less website.
